A wise man once told me, never fall in love with a politician, but it is OK to fall in love with what they do. I don’t know Jake, but I do know that his actions speak volumes about what he would do for the county if elected. I don’t know Mike French, but his track records tells me what he will do if re-elected. For me, that choice is clear as the proverbial bell.
I'm unsure what political party label Jake might identify with and I believe that to be a good thing. Party line voting precludes choosing the best available candidate. This area along with the entire State has been long dominated by the Democrat Party which severely limits our choices and any hope for change. Group think will earn us the fate of the Lemmings. Jake has a talent for applying common sense. As example, "does it work ?". So elegantly simple and substantive thinking, as opposed to how much more money might make it work. I'm elated to hear of souls that have successfully escaped drug addition. None of them attribute that success to having been provided free clean needles and/or boofing kits. I'm tapped out with talking about change and same ole. Don't tell me; show me. The only thing for sure in life is change. Let's help it, rather than resist it.
