YouTube Tuesday
Videos of the Day
There’s no shortage of entertainment on YouTube. Some of it local, some of it not so local and yet it could be local. Here are a few videos to enjoy today!
First, new on my YouTube Channel:
A video featuring a mix of memes and photos from the Saturday Morning Hangover in yesterday’s Tidbit in the Watchdog article. Thank you to the people who submit photos of life in Port Angeles.
Next, the latest from the Growl News Network at Sequim High School:
I’m from a different generation and the pop culture topics make no sense to me, but I do understand the sports scores and like seeing what’s going on with students these days.
Then, a weekly garden update with Doug:
Enjoy a visit to Doug’s garden in Sequim, plus some animal footage at the end. I’m curious to see how his pumpkins do this year!
Finally, it’s Memology 101:
This clip is about the mayor’s race in Los Angeles, California, and the recent debate where Spencer Pratt stood out as a candidate with common sense. What’s worth noting is how similar Pratt’s challenges are to Jake Seegers’ when it comes to tackling the failing policies that have resulted in drug addicts on the streets. What’s also similar is the argument from the opposition. It seems that common sense is their kryptonite.
Get ready for the Strait Shooter Tuesday Edition:
Enjoy the best satire in Clallam County starting at 6:03 this morning. The Strait Shooter Tuesday edition includes exclusive stories about gardening volunteers donating their time and tools to help the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe; how a library patron stepped up to stop the spread of financial literacy; and a new renaming is underway to better reflect the community.
Thank you for watching, sharing & subscribing!

After seeing the PA drug/homeless video, it was reassuring to see Doug's garden video. Thank you, Doug and CJ for bringing the beauty to Sequim.
CJ, your you Tube videos are short but get right to the root of the issue. Thank you for all of your hard work and humor each day. After reading CCWD I can't wait for tomorrow's post.
When I see the PA photos in slide show form it is hard to imagine how anyone in local office does not consider the drug crisis the most urgent local emergency and act accordingly. Walking through central PA is a gauntlet of trauma triggers. I am thankful for my own small patch of dirt to come home to for garden therapy. Doug's videos are very soothing and I didn't know about them before so thanks!
