Jen, it was great seeing you and Jeff and Doug as well! I am so impressed with Jake! He is young, smart, and passionate. I am optimistic.

The Strait Shooter’s reporting today is RICH with irony! A great start for the weekend! I am thankful for all of you who are stepping up for Clallam County and exposing the cronyism. Keep it going!

Good morning CJ,

Good point with our taxes doing some good....sometimes I focus on all the bad things they're spending our tax dollars on and it really irks me. I can't wait to go see Jake at one of his meet and greets We are big fans that are starving for representation in our counties leadership. It's tough to go to the commissioners meetings and have them listen without true concerns from a lot of people with real concerns. just a shrug and a vote the way the way they had planned. Derrick Eberle, the last example really makes you think we have an uphill battle but worth it if we can win out in the future!

Thank you and have a great day !

Thank you, Glen! I’m glad the perspective helps; I have to work at accepting taxes and I don’t believe I’m alone in that. Have a nice Monday!

Letter writing has become a lost art. The short or hopelessly rambling misspelled comments on social media offer a glimpse of the public's skills.

Let's revive the art.

I hear you, Rita! I’m not much of a grammar nazi, but a spelling nazi, and I have eased off in recent years since it’s not worth it for the most part.

Yes, the style of writing in comments truly represents common writing and it explains why letter writing is a lost concept. I’m going to work at adding some pages on CC Letters that discuss the art of letter writing, why it’s good to write letters, and maybe even basic structuring of a letter since it isn’t common anymore. Thanks for the inspiration!
